ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager looking for career growth? Then this is the perfect job for you.
The BDM will work closely with the sales team, product managers, as well as the management team to evaluate existing business opportunities, capabilities and strategies for their suitability to the clients' goals for growth requirements and implement effective sales strategies, models and tools to grow and maintain a sustainable market share.
The role requires maintaining existing business in your areas of responsibility and developing new sales opportunities. This will involve regular travel within your region to visit all levels of the sales cycle, including new sites to build your sales base.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating site inspections and field service while effectively communicating findings to the relevant technical support staff in order to develop customized offerings for clients and continuously monitor outcomes with a view to ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved with relevant products.
TASKS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO
* Promote the focus on sales and have results-driven outcomes for customers and business
* Strong sales capabilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to interact proactively with a broad external customer base
* Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
* Use the strong technical team to apply engineering principles for practical applications and customer solutions
* Daily review of outstanding upcoming sales orders, ensuring all necessary information is in the system, visible and correct
* Review site requirements and processes with sales and service teams who identify improvements
* Adhere to WHS duty of care at all times
* Adherence to strict safe working and fatigue management practices are expected to be followed in accordance with site safe work practices
* Job specific filing, storage and emailing
* Call reports for all site visits filled in on the CRM and reported
* Quote all opportunities and ensure accuracy of all entries

* Maintain knowledge of the latest developments in the market around sales, competitor activity and mining resource performance
* Strong Office 365, Excel/Teams skills
* JDEdwards or other ERP (SAP) experience desirable
