Are you a leader with a passion for logistics and a skill for streamlining operations? ALDI is seeking a Transport Assistant Section Leader to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you'll support the Transport Section Leader in managing all facets of our transport operations. From meticulously coordinating delivery schedules to effectively managing staff rosters, your input will drive efficiency and productivity across transport.
What does the role involve?
* Build the strength of our team, providing valuable feedback through positive reinforcement and coaching.
* Assisting with coordinating store delivery schedules and meeting daily deadlines.
* Minimise stock losses, understand and investigate inventory movements.
* Safety is paramount – you'll drive the highest standard of safety and cleanliness, reporting any incidents, hazards or near misses to keep our team members safe.
* Proactively identifying areas of improvement, driving operational excellence at every opportunity.
* Utilise resources effectively to strike the balance between meeting efficiency and upholding our high-quality and safety standards.
