The Administration Officer will play a pivotal role in delivering superior administrative support services to our clients, staff, and visitors.
This role will involve a range of tasks across different areas of administration, including reception services, theatre administrative functions, patient admissions and discharge processes, data entry, and more.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across all areas of administration, including the fast-paced environment of our 24/7 Emergency Department.Key Responsibilities: Provide a high-quality, confidential, and customer-focused administrative service.Manage reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing calls.Assist with theatre administrative functions, including scheduling appointments and maintaining records.Facilitate the admission and discharge processes for patients with efficiency and accuracy.Prepare and run patient/client information reports as required.Perform word processing and data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail.Support medical record administrative services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Provide clerical and administrative support across various sites within Barossa Hills Fleurieu LHN.
Requirements: Proven experience in administration or a related field.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.Flexibility to work across different shifts and locations, including weekends and holidays.Understanding of confidentiality and privacy regulations in a healthcare setting.Previous experience in a healthcare environment is desirable but not essential.
