About the role: As an Intermediate Accountant reporting directly to the Directors and Line Managers, you will be crucial in providing comprehensive accounting and reporting services to our valued clients. Duties: Train and supervise junior team members, providing dedicated support for their professional development. Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships. Collaborate with partners to deliver clients strategic business advisory and tax planning services. Prepare business activity statements and client correspondence. Liaise with various statutory authorities, including the ATO, on behalf of clients. Work closely with the team to ensure client work is completed efficiently and effectively. Serve a diverse range of clients, building strong relationships and rapport. Your role will foster team growth, deliver high-quality services, and maintain lasting client connections. Skills and Experience: A degree in Accounting or a related field, with a recognised accounting qualification (or working towards completion). Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, MYOB AccountRight, Xero, or QuickBooks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply financial data effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and professional client interactions. A proactive, detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
