About the Role As a Marine Project Engineer, you will support the Project Lead in delivering marine construction and structural integrity projects. You'll manage contractors, ensure compliance with quality standards, and oversee project schedules and budgets. This role offers the opportunity to demonstrate safety leadership and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, driving the successful completion of sustaining capital projects. This position will operate on an initial 5:2 4:3 roster transitioning to an 8:6 roster. Key Responsibilities Provide engineering expertise for marine construction and structural integrity projects. Manage contractors, ensuring adherence to progress, quality, and safety standards. Conduct site inspections for quality, progress, and change management. Coordinate technical queries with consultants and subject matter experts. Prepare progress reports, cashflow forecasts, and track project budgets. Engage with stakeholders to integrate project works with maintenance activities. Demonstrate safety leadership and promote HSEQ compliance. Skills and Experience Required Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural/Mechanical preferred) or Trade Certificate with extensive marine project experience. 3–5 years post-graduate experience in SMP projects; mining industry experience highly regarded. Knowledge of structural integrity, welding standards, and protective coatings advantageous. Experience in marine construction or maintenance highly regarded. Strong contractor/subcontractor management skills. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Primavera P6; SAP experience preferred. Technical expertise in brownfields SMP projects.
