The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science, product development, and quality assurance. This role will develop innovative food products, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement in our processes. Key Responsibilities Develop new food products or enhance existing ones to align with market trends and consumer preferences. Conduct rigorous testing and analysis to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality. Collaborate with production teams to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency without compromising quality. Conduct research on ingredients, formulations, and processing techniques to improve product color, appearance, flavour, texture, nutritional content and quality. Perform sensory evaluations, shelf-life testing, and troubleshooting of product issues. Compile technical documentation, including specifications, labels, and compliance reports to support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in production, packaging, storing, distribution etc. Stay up-to-date with local, national, and international food safety regulations to ensure all products meet necessary compliance requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the food service industry. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance protocols. Proficiency in laboratory techniques, sensory evaluation, and food analysis. Innovative mindset with a passion for developing new and improved food products. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
