The South Australian Certificate of Education Board (SACE Board)of South Australia’s primary role is the provision of theSouth Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) to government,non-government and international schools.

The IMPACT you will drive at the SACE Board
The Cyber Security Officer will support the cyber securityadministration and operational processes in accordance with SAgovernment cyber security policy and procedure to protect, detectand respond to cyber incidents across the critical data,applications and infrastructure belonging to the SACE Board
What you will BRING
1. Sound knowledge of cyber security tools that support the capability to detect, protect and respond to cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
2. Experience monitoring and reporting on the compliant use of records and information systems, including performing regular audits of network identiity access controls, assisting technical teams in investigating anomalies and utilising relevant procedures in the regular and timely deployment and maintenance of cyber security practices.
3. An understanding of the application of cyber related industry frameworks and guidelines (e.g., Essential 8, NIST, ISM, CIS) and knowledge of agency program activities, policies and activities.
4. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills of a high standard to build positive client and stakeholder relationships with a focus on service delivery.
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, within and across teams to achieve agreed outcomes.
6. Demonstrated skills in planning and negotiating and the ability to determine priorities with limited direction whilst attending to a variety of tasks with varying urgency and complexity.
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Cyber Security, or a minimum 2 years workingor training in cyber security.
Special Conditions
7. Some out-of-hours work.
8. The incumbent works under the SACE Board of South Australia Act 1983.
9. Appointment is subject to a satisfactory working with children check obtained through the Department of Human Services to be renewed every 5 years before expiry.

Remuneration
ASO4 classification level. $74,315 - $77,901 per annum plussuperannuation.
This is a term vacancy up to 3 years.
