Diesel Mechanic Field Service - Wodonga
$5,000 sign on Bonus
We are looking for a talented Field Service technician to join our team specialising in engine repairs and maintenance for our Wodonga branch. This is a Monday to Friday, Field Service position, with on call requirements.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
1. Deliver a first-class service to our customers across, automotive, industrial, and power generation
2. Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call roster
3. Diagnose and repair engines
4. Inspect and replace components as required
5. Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
6. Work with other major OEMs such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
7. Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)
8. Previous field service experience is advantageous
9. Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
10. Previous workshop exposure would be highly regarded
11. Solid diagnostic, electronic and IT capabilities
Compensation and Benefits
12. Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, and rotating roster to be on call
