Discover Your Next Role As a Site Planner at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, your responsibilities will include developing and executing detailed work plans for maintenance projects within our facility.
You will also be responsible for maintaining SAP Master Data, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our systems.
Additionally, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement in our maintenance processes, actively implementing industry best practices and innovative solutions to enhance our operations.
This position will be based at the Proserpine Mill, located in the Whitsundays region, known for its rich agricultural heritage, picturesque landscapes, lush rainforests and scenic mountains.

Your Role in Action Work Plan Development and Execution: Develop and deliver comprehensive work plans for maintenance activities, ensuring that tasks are clearly outlined, resources are allocated efficiently, and timelines are met for optimal operational performance.Collaboration with Engineering and Inventory Teams: Work closely with engineering and inventory teams to streamline the cataloguing of materials, ensuring that all necessary resources are available and accurately tracked for maintenance operations.Maintenance Record Keeping and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are thoroughly recorded and reviewed in line with business asset management policies and procedures, maintaining accurate maintenance history, and facilitating ongoing asset performance tracking.Continuous Improvement and Feedback Integration: Review feedback from executed maintenance tasks and analyse plant data to identify opportunities for refining maintenance strategies, improving efficiency, and reducing downtime in future operations.Adherence to Reliability and Work Management Standards: Ensure compliance with established reliability processes, work management practices, and technical standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives that drive maintenance excellence and operational reliability.Your Winning Combination Our ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in work planning within a heavy industrial environment and be proficient in using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Ideally, they will hold a trade certificate in a relevant discipline, such as urban planning or logistics, and possess experience in operational, maintenance, and project planning, as well as estimating and scheduling tasks.
