Job Description

1. Assist in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting
2. Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial plans, providing advise and support to all leaders ensuring equal input.
3. reparation of all financial information for the General Manager, Company and Owners with accuracy and detail.
4. Develop and monitor all financial systems for the Hotel with a view to improve and streamline procedures while maintaining financial controls.
5. Engage with Department Managers to develop effective measures to enhance their department’s profitability.
6. In conjunction with management, ensure night audit procedures are performed and accurate reporting is complete.
7. Complete weekly and monthly reporting on Financial matters.
8. Liaising with statutory authorities, banks, auditors, suppliers and vendors for relevant matters.
9. Ensure all Company, Hotel and legislative requirements are adhered to at all times
10. Oversee the Finance Team including payroll, account payable, receivable, general cashiering and gaming.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
11. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
12. 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with supervisory experience
13. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (Sun, Opera Cloud, HumanForce, WageEasy, Micros Simphony)
14. Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities
15. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
16. Experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred
