About the role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Aquatics Delivery Manager to lead our Aquatics department.
This remit for the role encompasses Learn to Swim, Children's and Schools Programs, Swim Squad, and Aquatic Operations (lifeguards).
The Aquatics Delivery Manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality, commercially sustainable programs aligned with the SSCT priorities, values, and vision.
This role includes financial management, service quality, risk management, customer experience and optimisation of our aquatic assets.
As Aquatics Delivery Manager your primary responsibilities will include: Developing and delivering high quality aquatic programs meeting the needs and expectations of the range of aquatic users and hirer groups Ensuring exceptional customer experience while managing risk and safety Driving culture improvements within aquatic teams Coordinating training needs and maintain mandatory qualifications Maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders Addressing programming inefficiencies and recommend solutions Developing a customer-centric service culture Managing and reporting against budget profit & loss Overseeing performance and development of aquatic programs team members and direct reports Collaborating with SSCT teams in ensuring quality, safe, accessible aquatic programming and outcomes Required skills and Qualifications: Required: Significant experience in multi-program management (preferably within a sporting/aquatic environment) Strong business and commercial acumen Demonstrated time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities Strong attention to detail and communication skills Well-developed supervisory and conflict resolution skills Confident computer skills, including operational application across the Microsoft suite Victorian Employee Working with Children Check First Aid/CPR Qualifications Teacher of Water Safety Teacher of Water Safety extensions Why is this a great place to work?
