The Role:
Are you an individual who enjoys connecting with clients and team members alike? We have an excellent opportunity for an Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our Brisbane office and make the role your own. No two days will be the same; one day, you will be meeting and greeting our clients, and the next, you will be onboarding and inducting new employees.
What to expect day to day:
Handling general reception and administrative duties, including assigning access cards, answering the office phone line, managing inboxes and calendars, processing leave, editing reports, taking meeting notes, coordinating merchandise orders, and corporate credit card reconciliation. Catering for team meetings and clients, booking events and training sessions. Ensuring all office consumables are well stocked and office equipment is well maintained. Maintaining a strong relationship with building management and managing suppliers to ensure prompt service to our office. About You:
You will have a positive attitude, a good work ethic and be a dependable team member. Keen to learn new systems and technology. Sound interpersonal skills that allow you to work with a diverse group of people. A solid interest in helping others and working as a team – being a focal point that can provide advice and support others. High attention to detail, and well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office suite and an ability to be comfortable to learn new computer systems. Effective time management skills – able to self-manage to deliver outcomes. Previous experience within an Engineering company is desirable. For the right candidate flexible scheduling options are available, including part-time hours or adjusted school-friendly hours, however this role requires attendance in person at the office.
