Employment type – Ongoing full time, 35 hour work week
Salary – $120,859 to $133,183 pa plus super and annual leave loading (Clerk Grade 9/10)

Your role
The Senior Project Officer manages and coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of complex projects to achieve project outcomes and support the achievement of organisational objectives.
This role represents a great opportunity to work on initiatives within a large, diverse organisation, as well as participate in cluster and NSW Government-wide projects.
What you’ll do
As part of the Procurement team, you will work on diverse projects that contribute to system and capability uplift and ongoing procurement compliance, to the Department, and the Cluster.
Strategy and Policy Team key accountabilities include:
1. Implementing new and updating existing policy initiatives from Central Government
2. Implement platform changes from NSW Procurement and NSW Dept Customer Service (eTender, Supplier Hub, Reporting)
3. Keep up to date and network with other Government agencies for forthcoming changes and analyse the impact on DCJ
4. Policy and procedure development, review and implementation
You will be working as a part of a team of dedicated procurement professionals who value technological innovation, creativity, and collaboration. You will be working in a hybrid work from home/office arrangement, in a fast-paced and results-oriented work environment.
What we’re looking for
5. 3-5 years experience working on projects in private or public sector
6. 2-3 years experience in procurement
7. Demonstrated experience in project management
8. Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects and deliverables
9. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
10. Ability to work with large amounts of data, as well as large, diverse stakeholder groups
11. Strategic/ critical thinker
