Senior Security Officer
The role of a Senior Security Officer at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, Northern Territory involves overseeing the safety and security of guests, employees, and property.
Responsibilities:
* Conducting patrols around the casino, hotel, and resort areas to ensure a secure environment.
* Reviewing reports of security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to identify areas for improvement.
* Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with Federal and Territory legislation, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
* Responding to first aid calls when required, providing medical assistance to those in need.
* Attending training courses to stay up-to-date on compliance and regulatory enforcement procedures.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in leading a strong team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
* Extensive experience in a security role, with a proven track record of effective, efficient, and responsive security services.
* Providing exceptional customer service to the public, exceeding their expectations and building trust.
* Effective communication with the public, internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless interactions and resolution of issues.
* Ability to respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner, prioritizing the safety of all individuals involved.
* Ability to work on a rotating roster, adapting to changing circumstances and schedules.
* Security License/Crowd Control License issued by the NT Government, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
* Certificates in First Aid/CPR, RSA and RSG, demonstrating a commitment to health and safety.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Casino Operatives License, meeting the requirements for working in the gaming industry.
