CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Estimator/Draftsperson to join our manufacturing client's dynamic team in Darwin, NT.

We are happy to accommodate notice periods for the right person.Key Responsibilities:Accurately input job numbers and purchase order numbers into relevant documentation.Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely recording, tracking, and responses.Provide financial reporting as requested, ensuring accuracy and relevance.Review and evaluate cost estimates for various projects.Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects.Prepare detailed estimates and purchase orders for all products, ensuring timely completion.Understand the scope of work for bids and manage bid pricing from vendors and subcontractors.Conduct cost analyses and build strong working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.Meet with clients and construction professionals to understand project briefs.Prepare sketches, plans, and designs in line with project specifications.Estimate material costs and work within budgets and timelines.Read and interpret engineering drawings while adhering to regulations and contract provisions.Maintain duty of care and compliance with safety regulations.Assist the sales team with tenders and quotes as required.Support project teams with planning, drafting, and making changes as needed.About You:Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering, accounting, applied science, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction estimating and drafting.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience with MYOB or similar software is an asset.Ability to read and interpret architectural plans with precision.Strong problem-solving skills and impeccable attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Highly organised with the ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.Why Join?Be part of a respected and growing manufacturing business in the Northern Territory.Work in a supportive and professional team environment.Enjoy opportunities for career development and skill enhancement.To Apply:If this is a position you could see yourself in please click APPLY, or get in touch with Bec Thorn from CELOTTI WORKFORCE on 07 3608 5*** send your resume to ******.
