This role is responsible for maintaining complete and accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented and posted. By fostering strong vendor relationships, reconciling accounts, and upholding compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards, the Accounts Payable Executive plays a vital role in the efficient operation of the hotel's financial processes.Main Duties/Responsibilities:Process daily invoices received electronically or in hard copy form.Review invoice amounts against purchase orders to ensure integrity spent.Ensure Purchase Orders and Invoices are authorised in a timely fashion.Process correct, timely batches from Electronic Purchase Systems into the Resorts Accounting System.Reconcile all invoices and payments to supplier’s statements, following up with requests for copies of any delinquent amounts.Take telephone enquiries regarding Accounts Payable related queries from business partners.Carry out End of Month procedures as set out by Finance hierarchy, which include accruals, report preparation, electronic and hardcopy filing, etc.Qualifications:A minimum of two years’ experience working in accounts payable, finance, or a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry.Experience with financial and procurement software such as SUN and Purchase Plus is advantageous.Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, including but not limited to invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and month-end closing procedures.Exposure to managing relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring prompt payments and resolving payment issues efficiently.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other financial tools to generate reports and manage data.Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities and workflow.Additional InformationMondrian Gold Coast is an equal opportunity employer.
