What we are looking for:
We’re looking for an experienced Horticulturist to join our high performing team as team leader. You’ll be working closely with the Supervisor in implementing programs and supervising day to day works.
What your day will look like:
1. Supervising and mentoring a team of 10
2. Providing technical guidance and assistance on a range of Horticulture matters
3. Assisting the Supervisor with allocation of resources
4. Ensuring work is completed to program requirements, meeting service levels
5. Managing the use of contractors and other service providers
You’ll have relevant experience in a leadership position and will be genuinely passionate about sharing your expertise with your team. Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate directions to your team, will set you up for success.
You’ll have:
1. Strong computer literacy, able to operate internal systems and complete necessary reporting
2. Knowledge of health and safety practices as they relate to this role
3. Experience organising work schedules and rosters
4. Experience allocating plant and other resources
