Regulation Manager for Customs Tariffs Department
This role involves monitoring, researching and understanding international Customs Tariffs and duty rates on a daily basis to ensure PST.AG clients can operate internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain up-to-date regulatory expertise to ensure accuracy of the PST.AG database of Customs Tariffs.
* Stay informed about current international events and regulations related to customs tariffs, update information from regulations and laws, and implement changes in specific tasks.
* Ensure data formats, processing procedures and requirements are accurate and compliant.
* Update internal controls and procedure manuals based on business requirements and regulations.
* Coordinate with other departments, assign, manage and complete tasks through effective personnel management.
* Write clear documentation on processes and ensure the entire workflow is well-documented and clear for everyone.
* Communicate with international teams, including technical administrators, developers, data entry specialists, coaches, management, regulatory authorities and customers.
* Trouble-shoot customer complaints, faulty workflows, missing data, etc.
* Identify and resolve workflows creating incomplete data, poor quality data, etc.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Foreign Trade, International Business or related field.
* Expertise in reasoning and logic, data organization.
* Experience in customs tariffs field.
* Extensive experience communicating (written and verbal) technical processes and legal documents to diverse professional backgrounds.
* Project management and coordination skills.
* Professional communication skills.
* Prior experience with US and/or Switzerland Customs Tariff is highly preferred.
