You'll play a vital role in helping our sick and injured patients recover so they can transition into our rehabilitation programs, making a direct impact on wildlife.
About Us
WA Wildlife is a non-profit organization providing medical care and rehabilitation services for injured native wildlife in the south metropolitan region.
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning and maintaining animal housing facilities
* Performing husbandry and enrichment tasks
* Handling animals and administering care
* Record keeping and administrative duties
Volunteer Requirements
* 18 years or older
* Driver's Licence (C)
* National Police Certificate
* Tetanus vaccination recommended
Training and Commitment
We offer a 16-week competency training program with an online learning module and practical training session. Our minimum commitment is one 6-hour shift per week/fortnight, with opportunities to take on full shifts once trained.
Please note: There is a sign-up fee of $60.00, which includes a uniform and name badge.
