Our network comprises of 11 specialist companies operating out of three key hubs in Sydney, London and New York.Role Overview:As a trusted HR partner for our multi award winning Creative Agency BMF, this role provides expert advice, guidance, and coaching to both managers and employees. The focus is on ensuring a fair and consistent approach to a wide range of HR matters, including policies, legislation, changes to terms and conditions, benefits, career development, grievances, disciplinary actions, absence management, performance issues, individual counselling, and terminations. This position plays a critical role in supporting BMF by promoting a positive and compliant work environment while fostering employee development and resolving issues effectively.Responsibilities:Leadership Management: Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and leadership team across all business functions. Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to leadership, driving both individual and organizational improvements, including expertise in employment compliance, risk management, grievances, and benefits. Partner with the Chief People Officer to execute the annual People and Culture strategy, with a focus on Learning and Development priorities. Provide day-to-day leadership to the People & Culture Coordinator.Talent Management: Strengthen client partnerships by hiring, developing and retaining world-class talent. Consult with senior leaders on organisational design and alignment to identify and prioritise roles and talent. Ensure seamless and thoughtful onboarding of all new starters. Lead the group wide annual engagement survey to analyse trends and make informed recommendations for organisational improvement.Recruitment: Evaluate resourcing needs in collaboration with leadership teams. Coordinate with the Talent Team on open positions. Partner with the Talent Team to recruit top-tier employees at all levels, ensuring alignment with business goals and budget. Update and create job descriptions for new roles. Review all contractual documentation and verify eligibility to live and work in Australia.People & Culture Strategic Partner: Design and implement initiatives and people practices, including P&C strategy and change initiatives to drive employee engagement. Leverage superior organisational knowledge to deliver business objectives and individual KPIs. Provide strong change management capability to deliver on key projects and strategies. Drive change and influence plans with regards to key messaging and outcomes including people implications.Reward and Recognition: Lead remuneration approach for all agencies aligned with company and individual performance. Manage the full remuneration review cycle twice yearly and coach line managers on internal communications.Performance Management: Provide content and functional expertise on the Performance Review process, ensuring leaders are setting and cascading company KPIs. Provide counsel and expertise with regards to performance related issues and grievances. Coach managers to effectively manage teams and performance.Policy and Benefits: Effectively communicate employee policy changes to leadership teams and all employees. Manage employee benefits, ensuring consistency, and keeping communications and policies up-to-date. Oversee leave and absence management processes. Ensure disciplinary procedures are in compliance with group policies and guidelines.Onboarding and Offboarding: In conjunction with the P&C Coordinator, monitor and follow up with managers and new hires on their progress during the probation period. Oversee the entire exit process from start to finish. Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback. Ensure compliance with immigration regulations related to employee exits.Reporting: Timely preparation and administration of the monthly payroll report. Monthly Board Report. Prepare reports for WHS incidents/hazards. Provide Enero with information on any workers compensation claims.Learning and Development: Work with L&D to schedule training sessions. Work with the leadership teams to develop an internal and external training plan ensuring ongoing consistency and regular sessions are conducted in line with career plans.General Administration and Compliance: Draft general correspondence (policies, legislation, changing terms and conditions, benefits, career development, grievances, disciplinary issues, absence, performance issues and terminations). Maintain staff records and staff files. Assist employees with using WorkStuff (ESS). Monitor probation and maximum term contract expiry dates. Complies with HR legislation, all Enero Group and agency policies and processes. Advise managers on all disciplinary and redundancy situations as they arise, liaising with group in-house legal and Chief Finance Officer for paperwork and advice. Lead and manage team pillar projects, such as the Employee Opinion Survey or the Enero Women Program, as assigned and approved by the Chief People Officer.People & Culture Team: Actively contribute as a senior member of the P&C team by leading projects, mentoring junior employees, and participating in team-wide initiatives.
