About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Medical Practitioner within the Emergency Department
The Medical Practitioner is responsible for:
3. Performing emergency medical assessment and treatment for patients attending the Emergency Department (ED) in consultation with the shift Consultants, Night Team Leaders, and with the collaboration of Nursing and Allied Health professionals.
4. Liaising with other services of NALHN, other health providers in the community and hospital sector as well as with the broader community in the pursuit of comprehensive patient care.
5. Involvement in Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
6. Involvement in continuing education activities.
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
