Executive Director Strategy and CommunicationsThe Public Sector Commission is on a mission to create an innovative and future fit public sector for all Western Australians.This position leads, plans and coordinates sector-wide strategic reform initiatives and communications that deliver on the Commission's remit to enhance public sector administration, performance, capability, regulation, and improvement.The position is responsible for the WA Public Sector Learning Initiative which represents the most significant investment in workforce capability uplift in recent times.This work involves high-level change management, stakeholder engagement, and communications within, across, and external to the public sector, including with agency chief executive officers and senior staff, Ministers, and the Premier's office.The Commission now needs someone who can lead complex and challenging programs and partner with executive stakeholders and service providers to break new ground and help build a high performing, future fit sector. You'll provide strategic direction and advice to the Commissioner, Government, and Corporate Executive regarding key sector-wide strategies, initiatives, and reforms.You'll lead the conceptualisation of reforms using data insights, consultation, analysis, and systems thinking, including coordination of research to inform directions.You'll ensure communications and engagement with sector leaders and stakeholders are coordinated, targeted, and collaborative to successfully implement reforms.We are looking for someone with a track record of conceptualising, leading, and delivering initiatives with wide-ranging impacts across large, complex organisations or sectors.You'll have substantial experience in leading and developing teams to design and implement strategies and initiatives that drive organisational change, and be adept at making tactical and strategic decisions, building and leveraging relationships, and proactively identifying and managing risks.We value diversity and understand diverse workplaces are more effective and innovative.
