The Deputy Logistics and Transportation Manager will support the Department Manager in overseeing all logistics activities and transportation operations. This role will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain by supporting the development and execution of logistics strategies, managing day-to-day transportation activities, and ensuring compliance with industry & facility regulations.
This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, identifying areas for improvement, promoting cost-effective solutions, and maintaining high service standards.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years' experience in supply chain management leadership positions, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with varied stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office operating systems is also required.
The employee will be responsible for:
* Oversight of assets, material, and property control activities to ensure continuous accountability of government and company property in accordance with governing regulations and policies.
* Maintaining 100% accountability over inventories of all program assets.
* Management of personnel, government material, assets, and property control, and ensuring consumable supplies are maintained to provide constant support to the program.
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
* Minimum Essential: 10 years' experience in supply chain management leadership positions; proficiency in MS Office operating systems.
* Desirable: Vocational training and qualifications in Logistics related fields; Materials handling training; Leadership and management focused degree.
We offer a typical office environment with occasional lifting to 10kgs, kneeling, standing, and walking. The employee must be able to work under deadlines and meet the physical demands of the job.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

* Able to fluently read, write, and speak English
