SKYLAS Academic Programs and Tuition is seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Primary School or Early Childhood Teacher to deliver our School Readiness Program for children primarily aged 3-5 years. 2025 START REQUIRED, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am- 3:00pm. (Potential for transition to Permanent Part-Time or Full Time) As a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a crucial role in preparing young children for their transition to formal schooling by providing a comprehensive and engaging educational foundation with our evidence-based tuition programs. Your passion for early childhood education, combined with your expertise, will contribute to creating a positive and enriching learning environment.Key Responsibilities: Develop multi-sensory components of our explicit, well-structured and engaging School Readiness Program that aligns with the NSW Curriculum and focuses on key developmental areas including literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional readiness to enter into primary school.Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons, activities, and experiences that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of children aged 3 to 5, fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to actively participate in learning experiences.Collaborate with families to gain insights into each child's background, interests, and learning styles, and use this information to tailor the program to individual needs.Monitor and assess children's progress regularly, identifying areas for growth and providing constructive feedback to both children and parents.Foster a love for learning by incorporating creative and interactive teaching methods, such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and hands-on activities aligned with our existing programs.Promote positive behavior and social interactions among children, teaching them essential skills such as conflict resolution, empathy, and effective communication.Maintain accurate records of children's development, achievements, and challenges, and share these insights with parents during parent-teacher conferences or through regular communication channels.Stay updated on current trends and research in early childhood and primary school education, integrating innovative teaching techniques into the program.Collaborate with other educators and staff members to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to children's development.
