About the Role
A School Administrative Officer assists the principal in a range of school, classroom and office activities. Some examples of duties are record keeping, bookkeeping and other clerical duties, reception, operating and maintaining classroom and office equipment, purchasing, preparing and maintaining stock and learning and resource materials.
A School Administrative Officer also provides administrative, financial and student welfare/wellbeing support and assistance in relation to office and classroom activities, including but not limited to the following school settings: the office, sick bay, library, science laboratory, and food technology/kitchen areas.
Essential Requirements
1. Working with Children Check Clearance
2. First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake First Aid training.
3. Administration of Medications – training to be provided based on student needs.

Specific Selection Criteria
4. Demonstrated capacity to work effectively as part of a team.
