Job Description We are very excited to offer two highly sought-after Dietitian roles in our Allied Health team at Epworth Geelong!
We are seeking interest from passionate Grade 2 or an experienced Grade 1 Dietitians (minimum 3 years) currently looking for casual opportunities.
Applications are invited from innovative, dynamic and highly motivated Dietitians committed to evidence-based and multidisciplinary care. Working as part of a small Dietetics team, these roles will be responsible for managing the nutritional needs of both inpatients, outpatients and ambulatory patients.
Clinical areas at Epworth Geelong include surgical, critical care, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, neurology, pain management, cardiorespiratory, oncology, medical and rehabilitation. This role may require successful applicants to work shifts as a sole clinician on site as required.
You will make an impact by: Promoting and providing dietetic and nutritional intervention across a range of inpatient wards and outpatient services Providing evidence-based nutrition intervention to ambulatory oncology patients Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care using a patient-centred approach Actively participating in quality activities ensuring opportunities for improvement are actively explored and best practice is achieved as required as well as contributing to student supervision. To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in an acute setting Commitment to best practice and working within a multidisciplinary team Well-developed time management, prioritisation and communication skills The ability to work with key stakeholders to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes A quality and risk focused approach to clinical practice, patient care and decision making Qualifications: Bachelor / Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent Eligibility for membership with Dietitians Australia Additional Information: At Epworth, it's a community.
