The Role
The Remington is currently seeking Receptionists/Front Office Staff to join our hotel.
What does this involve?
Hotel Reception is the first point of contact for customers and is responsible for ensuring the highest level of guest service and authentic hospitality for all clientele.
The successful applicants will be part of the key team delivering exceptional customer service, authentic hospitality, all combined with the Remington edge that sets us apart from competitors.
Focused on guest experience first and foremost, the successful applicants will enjoy rotational rosters across 7 days, incorporating morning, afternoon, evening, and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
Effective coordination and supervision of all guest arrival and departure procedures to achieve a reputation as a market leader in the industry and deliver a truly memorable experience for our guests.
Promoting and up-selling hotel facilities and services through strong product & service knowledge.
Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality and the issuing of room keys.
Maintaining procedures in relation to credit and cash transactions and accounting documentation.
Wow every single guest at every opportunity with your professional and approachable attitude.
Skills & Experience:
Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment (preferred).
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering gracious and dependable hospitality.
The resilience and confidence to handle guest inquiries and concerns.
The ability to anticipate guest needs.
Strong Computer Skills.
A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or willing to obtain.
Ability to work a rotating roster.
A fun & supportive approach to teamwork.
Must have a high level of personal presentation.
Experience in the accommodation industry is desirable.
