The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Key Account Manager to act as the daily interface between our client and their customers. You will be responsible for managing and developing long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring all service expectations, KPIs, and targets are met. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify new business opportunities, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive profitable growth within their client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key clients, delivering exceptional service. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and in-person meetings. Handle customer escalations and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Work closely with internal stakeholders to onboard new clients and ensure a seamless transition. Monitor client volumes, profitability, and performance against KPIs. Prepare and present customer reports, KPI data, and quarterly business reviews. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving strategies within supply chains. Manage invoice disputes, detention queries, and ensure prompt resolution within company timelines. Educate customers on software solutions such as OneTrack and provide training when needed. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and internal policies. Actively contribute to team meetings, sales workshops, and business development initiatives. What We're Looking For Proven experience in account management, customer service, or a similar role within the logistics/supply chain industry. Strong understanding of incoterms, Australian Customs regulations, and documentation requirements. Ability to analyze market intelligence, rate levels, and identify growth opportunities. Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
