Duties: Possess & apply an understanding of the chemical reactions and related theory involved in metallurgical processesDevelop and improve processes involved in treating ores and mineral concentratesConduct experimental work and ensure that the data obtained is reproducible and appropriately recordedAnalyse, summarise and interpret data from experimental and pilot programsIdentify gaps that need to be filled, to draw conclusions and develop process solutionsProduce first-draft technical notes and reports for project managers to facilitate reporting to clientsSkills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry and/or Hydrometallurgy is essential, honours degree preferredAny lab-based experience in Applied Chemistry/Chemistry and/or Hydrometallurgy would be highly regardedThe ability to work under limited supervision, prioritise work and respond to changing priorities and deadlines to complete assigned dutiesDemonstrated ability to follow standard procedures, regulations and OHSE requirementsApply!If you think this could be the role for you, then please apply now!
