YCSS currently has casual roles located across our Ipswich & Western Suburbs placements – Bellbird Park to Yamanto. However, there is also the capacity for you to pick up additional shifts at our North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region placements – Kallangur to Caboolture if you are willing to travel. YCSS Benefits Two days paid induction prior to being placed on shift Ongoing development through training and mentoring opportunities Career opportunities (Many of our staff in leadership roles have started as a Residential Youth Support Worker) Access to Employee Assistance Program Commitment to a positive work culture and environment About the Role No day is the same, but some key responsibilities include: Attending to the daily needs of the children and young people Maintaining a home like environment for young people Managing complex behaviours Supporting and encouraging social, emotional, behavioural and developmental outcomes for children and young people Report writing through progress notes and reports Liaising with Coordinators and team leaders in relation to the young people Essential Criteria Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family intervention or other recognised qualification as listed on Minimum Qualification Standard Information Sheet Current First Aid and CPR Current Queensland Paid Blue Card Current Queensland Driver License Reliable registered motor vehicle (4 door sedan) Comprehensive car insurance Current LCS2 or LCS7 or ability to complete and pass Must be available for weekend work, sleepovers and support shifts Apply Now For further information please contact recruitmentycss.com.au.
