We are recruiting for our Front Reception and Appointment Management teams at our South Brisbane Campus. These roles will be Administration Officers (MCA2) vacancies across both maximum term and permanent opportunities, full time hours.
What you'll be doing (duties listed include all vacancies, specifics will be advised at interview): Providing exceptional customer service to patients and clientsProviding administrative support to clinical and medical staffProvide administrative assistance to other senior staff and others as requestedExercise judgement where necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not definedMaintaining and meeting multiple KPI's dailyOutbound calling to patients to update their demographics, confirm attendance, and address any queriesFocus on improving patient engagement and implementing strategies to increase response rates for outbound communicationsCross-training in front of house DPU or Endoscopy roles to provide variety and assist with shift coverageProcessing patient admissions, transfers and discharges and the preparation of clinical formsMaintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, complying with administration, and financial policy and procedures, maintaining accurate, current and accessible files, including maintenance of records of relevant meetings and discussionsContinually demonstrate highly developed written communication skills including ability to draft routine correspondence on behalf of the senior managementAbout you The successful candidate will be hardworking, enthusiastic and able to show initiative. You will be approachable with a mature and confident attitude, have the ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
To be considered for this position, you must:
Experienced in providing medical administration supportHighly developed time management and organisational skillsStrong computer skills including competence in using Patient Administration systems (or the ability to quickly learn new systems)Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to organise and prioritise work effectively within a busy, fast-paced, demanding environmentAbility to be available for all shifts across a 5-day working week between the hours of 6am to 6:00pmAdvanced IT skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelA positive attitude and approach to work with a commitment to excellent service and accuracyApplications close on Sunday 6th April 2025.
