This role presents a thrilling opportunity for someone looking to further their career within a thriving international engineering consultancy.DutiesKey responsibilities include:Maintenance and administration of the legal management systemsDrafting and negotiating professional service agreements, non-disclosure and exclusivity agreements, joint venture agreements and other transaction documents between RBG and various local, national and international government, construction and developer clientsDrafting and negotiating professional service agreements with sub-consultants and preparing service ordersReviewing requests for tender and preparing necessary material for inclusion in responses to tenderAssisting in standard contract development, policy development, corporate governance and staff training programmesAssisting in drafting necessary transaction documents for share disposals and acquisitionsAssisting with preparation of Board, committee and management reports and participation in management meetings at national and international levelsReporting regularly with the General Counsel and Legal CounselAssisting with Debt recovery processesMaintaining precedent and template documents (for example, confidentiality and exclusivity agreements, standard terms of supply) for use across the businessConducting research (legal and otherwise) and reporting findingsAttend relevant training and seminars offered by external providers (subject to approval from Legal Counsel)Maintenance of the RBG lease portfolioLiaison with insurers regarding policy and other insurance documents as requiredWhat we need:1 year prior paralegal experienceThe ability to work on multiple and complex matters, prioritising and meeting deadlinesExceptional interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication and high attention to detailIntermediate/advanced Microsoft Office skillsExperience in the construction industry advantageous but not essentialRobert Bird Group is an equal employment opportunity employer.About UsRobert Bird Group is a leading international structural, geotechnical, civil and construction engineering consultancy.
