Role Description/Criteria

Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will:
* have demonstrated commitment to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching and living the school’s vision
* be committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children
* possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience
* have demonstrated capacity to promote and enact contemporary & innovative pedagogies and practices
* embrace a collegial, respectful and positive team-based approach to teaching and learning
* commit to the ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school culture
* have the capacity to communicate positively and effectively with all stakeholders within a school community.
In addition, successful applicants will be expected:
* To demonstrate a commitment to the Sacred Heart Primary School Child Safe Policy & the Staff Code of Conduct
* Hold registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
* Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School is strongly preferred; a commitment to obtain accreditation may be considered
Salary is in accordance with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement and available on the website www.cecv.catholic.edu.au.
