Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes.
2. Upload and enforce food safety and hygiene standards.
3. Oversee staff training and development.
4. May manage food preservation and storage processes.
5. Deliver food services based on customer choices.
6. Supervise the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure high standards at every stage.
7. Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
8. Check the quantity and quality of received products.
9. Check food is stored and handled as per food health and hygiene regulations.
10. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
2. Knowledge of various cooking methods and procedures.
3. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
4. Prior experience as a chef minimum 2 years.
5. Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma in Hospitality and Management Qualification(s).
6. Flexible to work on a rotating roster.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $79,416.55 per year
Schedule:
1. 10 hour shift
Supplementary Pay:
1. Overtime pay
