Clinical Director – Senior Leadership Opportunity (12 - month contract with opportunity for extension, contractor arrangements will also be considered)
Hello there,
So, now we assume you're looking for a fulfilling career. But are you looking for…
* True work–life balance in a senior leadership role - we’re flexible
* A leadership role that sets and delivers the clinical strategy for a fast-growing business
* An opportunity to be a part of an inclusive, progressive senior leadership team
* The opportunity to work with a well-respected Clinical Advisory Panel
* A chance to use your clinical expertise to shape a continuous learning and development program
We’re Splash Paediatric Therapy (SPT). We’re a bunch of down-to-earth Paediatric Occupational and Speech Pathologists, but probably not the kind you're used to. We're an energetic, tech-savvy, and dynamic team of 60, all as expertly brilliant and hard-working as the next. And, whilst we passionately love what we do, we’re in the business of caring and supporting children and their families to grow and develop within their community.
We all work together and learn from each other providing assessment and therapy services to children (0-16 years) presenting with a range of occupational therapy and speech pathology support needs. We are a clinic-based service with a strong connection to schools, kindergartens, and the community.
Our Clinical Director will be embarking on parental leave, and whilst she is busy full-time with bubs, we’d like your stewardship across these main areas:
* The operational management and nurturing of direct reports, coaching and managing your team’s workflow
* Delivery of the clinical strategy and service pathway
* Oversight of our clinical governance
* Ownership of the clinical supervision and clinical training program
* Management of the clinical services and client experience
* External business development through maintaining and building key external relationships
* Provision of occupational therapy consultancy and clinical supervision to our discipline leads
If you’d like to work with us: we’d like you to have significant paediatric occupational therapy or speech pathology expertise and senior leadership experience. You are a seasoned practitioner with a track record of setting and delivering evidence-based clinical direction. You are a natural leader; you love developing teams and clinical skill. Building rapport comes easily because you’re positive, energetic, confident yet humble (we don’t have egos here). We’ll induct and mentor you to achieve your goals and we are dedicated to your development and happiness. We’re a small business with a big heart.
You will need to tick these boxes too:
* Professional indemnity and public liability insurance;
* AHPRA or SPA registration;
* Working With Children Check;
* NDIS Worker Screening Check;
* Current Victorian Driver’s Licence;
* Own Vehicle or access to a vehicle as required.
If you’ve made it this far (and you still have a smile on your face), here’s a series of tips to win you brownie points. Your application should include a resume and a cover letter and demonstrate:
* What you are looking for in your career now
* Your proudest achievements, in your work and personal life.
* What you love to do in your spare time.
What now?
Get in touch with us, we are happy to provide you with a job description for more detail and we’d love to meet you and tell you more about the day-to-day role.
