This allows us to offer excellent opportunities for the right candidate.About The Role...We are seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our team in influencing LEAN and safe operations at our Eastern Creek site.Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include:Allocate and schedule fleet in accordance with customer requirementsEngage 3rd Party providers when requiredEnsure daily checks on vehicles are conducted to monitor the serviceability and equipment functionalityCommunicate and liaise with drivers, operators, subcontractors and other stakeholdersMaintain data integrity including KPI entry, allocations and general administrationDevelop and maintain relationships with all key stakeholdersReport any hazard, near miss / hit, injury or incident immediately and assist with any investigation when requestedPrepare and use reports and other information to support day-to-day decisionsMonitor adherence to OH&S policies & proceduresWork to correct Load restraint standards and proceduresConduct performance reviews and develop training plans for the driving teamAbout You...To be successful you have:Relevant experience in allocation roles and knowledge of the transport industryExcellent relationship building skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyEnthusiastic, team player and has the “Can Do” attitudeA strong focus on quality and safe work practicesProven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentExperience using Load Restraint and Chain of Responsibility policies and proceduresHold an MR / HR licenceSuccessful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and must have contactable work references.If you are a passionate person who realizes the tremendous opportunity that this role offers, we want to hear from you.
