As Site Supervisor - Solar Installer with Energy Bay Developments you will :
* Oversee all aspects of solar installation projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Ensure Energy Bay Developments deploys industry leading installations.
* Supervise and coordinate the work of installation teams, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
* Ensure initiatives are undertaken to complete projects on time.
* Follow work instructions and standard procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
* Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
* Monitor the quality of work performed, ensuring it meets company standards and client expectations. Address any issues or deficiencies promptly.
* Collaborate with electricians and other team members to ensure proper wiring and electrical connections of solar panels.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, addressing any questions or concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.
* Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, timesheets, and material usage.
You will be successful in the role if you :
* Have a Degree in Construction Management or Design.
* Have 2 years experience as a solar roofer.
* Possess strong leadership and communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction and mounting systems and techniques.
* Can work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.
* Adhere to our Zero Harm values to protect yourself, team members, customers and the environment.
* Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during installation.
* Hold a Valid Working at Heights Certification.
* Possess a White Card.
* Have a Valid EWP Ticket.
* Hold a Valid driver’s licence.
* Have an understanding of solar PV systems.
* Have full working rights.
