We are currently recruiting for a Senior Surveyor – Capital Allowances looking to join our client focused consulting team in Sydney.
The candidate will need to have a proven track record in Quantity Surveying, property depreciation, asset registers and financial advisory services and demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role.
The Senior Surveyor – Capital Allowances will be responsible for carrying out and delivering innovative service solutions for asset, property and facilities management, as well as supporting and advising clients with practical and professional advice. A commitment to delivering customer service excellence and good commercial results is key.
We are keen to hear from candidates with:
1. + years of demonstrated experience within the Quantity Surveying, Capital Allowances field
2. Reliable and conversational knowledge of, and experience with Australiantax legislation
3. Experience preparing reports
4. Experience with asset registers and method of measurement
5. Lifecycle costing experience
6. Depreciation schedules / Stamp Duty calculations
7. Project estimate experience for the various phases of a project
8. Understanding of all types of design principles and solutions in buildings including practical site knowledge
9. Engineering services estimates experience
10. The ability to complete estimates based on incomplete design documentation
11. The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
12. Demonstrated desire and interest in leading, training others and progressing in their career
13. Excellent communication skills and an ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships
14. Significant working experience in Australia
15. Eligible working rights in Australia
The Senior Quantity Surveyor – Capital Allowances will be responsible for carrying out and delivering including but not limited to:
16. Depreciation Schedules
17. Procurement and other professional advice to facilitate successful project outcomes
18. Management to meet deadlines within fee budgets
19. Feasibility Studies
20. Cost control – planning, forecasting and estimation
