About the role
The Oriana Orange is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead and supervise our dedicated housekeeping team. This part-time position will be based in Orange, NSW 2800, and will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout our hotel.
What you'll be doing
Oversee and coordinate the daily housekeeping operations, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance management. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to identify and address any cleaning or maintenance issues. Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and training programs to continuously improve efficiency and quality. Manage the housekeeping inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining par levels. Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. Recruit, train, and supervise the housekeeping team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively delegate and motivate a team. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Familiarity with housekeeping best practices, inventory management, and budget control. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all hotel departments. Working knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Proficient in the use of housekeeping management software and other relevant technologies. What we offer
