About the service: Based in Springwood, 'Stride Hub' offers short to medium term mental health support for people between the ages of 18-64 experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges. Working with them, their families and carers, Stride Hub provides person-centred, recovery-oriented support and a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing, including support for physical and social needs.

Role overview:
1. Provide leadership, practice development and mentoring sessions to a team of non-clinical Mental Health Support Workers
2. Actively work with the team to support their skills development through supervision, instruction, and guidance
3. Support the Service Manager with administrative functions
4. Monitor and review the systems and processes used in Client Services ensuring the collected information is used to analyse service delivery outcomes to enhance the effectiveness of support for persons with a mental illness and/or a disability
Requirements:
1. Minimum of Cert IV in Mental Health, Community Services or other related discipline (ideally a completed Diploma or Bachelors)
2. Demonstrated experience working within adult mental health and engaging with people living with a mental illness and/or a disability
3. Ability to think and act calmly, communicate sensitively and to relate to clients, families, carers, government agencies and community services with dignity, empathy and respect
4. Ability to help program participants link in with other relevant community resources and to promote the rights, responsibilities and recovery of program participants
5. Ability to implement and facilitate planned activities resulting in greater community access and support
6. Demonstrated communication, problem solving, organisational skills and computer proficiency
7. Must be eligible to apply for/currently hold a Blue Card and NDIS worker screening clearance for paid employment
8. Current driver's license
