THE ROLE:
Our client is seeking an experienced Contact Centre Team Leader to inspire and lead a team of retention and acquisition consultants in their call centre located on St Kilda Rd.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and engage the team to deliver exceptional member experiences through live listening, evaluation activities, feedback, and coaching.
* Track, understand, and manage team performance against KPIs and goals, taking effective steps to close gaps or seek support.
* Conduct engaging and informative weekly huddles and monthly team meetings.
* Actively seek out improvement opportunities and advocate for their implementation within the business.
About You:
* Ability to coach, identify skill gaps, develop, and motivate team members to meet strategic goals
* Previous experience leading a team in changing environments/ through a transformation
* Strong customer experience focus with ability to drive a high-performing culture
* High organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and coordinate resources effectively.
* Demonstrates high levels of resilience and works well under pressure
* Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of health insurance, general insurance, or financial services (nice to have)
