The Role The Grade 3 General Radiographer is a leadership role working with and at the direction of the Grade 4 General Supervisor. The successful candidate will rotate through all aspects of general x-ray including inpatients, outpatient, emergency, theatre, and mobile radiography. There is a requirement to participate in after-hours shift and on-call services due to the department's 24-hour operation.
Your role would be to provide supervision and leadership across general x-ray services by:
Facilitating daily operationsProviding training, feedback, and support to staffCommunicating effectively and respectfullyPromoting a culture of safetyCollaborating with internal and external stakeholdersParticipating in quality improvement and change projectsParticipating fully in clinical work to provide the best possible radiographic examinations ensuring patient comfort, welfare, and safety in accordance with departmental protocols, ethics, and code of conductOther duties as required by the Grade 4 General Supervisor and/or Chief RadiographerQualifications and Experience Required Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations or equivalentEligibility for A.S.M.I.R.T.
