The Role:
Responsible for effectively supervising and leading a team of supervisors, tradespeople, trades assistants and apprentices to deliver positive maintenance outcomes for the site. This role will support with driving and delivering the maintenance department’s Key Performance Indicator results.
The purpose is to ultimately have a leadership stance and be at the forefront driving maintenance functionality. More specifically, this position will therefore be responsible for supporting sites maintenance supervisors in the realm of improving asset reliability and plant performance.
1. Delivery of regional KPI’s including uptime, cost, inventory and other leading indicators
2. Drive a maintenance excellence program for the site
3. Oversight for managing spare part inventory levels, spare part cost, suppliers selection
4. Provides technical support and coaching to maintenance management across site
5. Support Global best practice via internal auditing programs
Skills & Experience:
1. Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related area is essential
2. CMMS Management
3. Project Management
4. 5 years in people leadership roles is desirable
5. Knowledge of CMMS population, review and improvement
6. High level of computer literacy and ability to analyse data
7. Broad understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
8. Ability to work autonomously and can prioritise work
9. A track record of delivering accurate information and reliability improvements based on structured analysis
