Job Summary:
As a SharePoint Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing, configuring, and maintaining the SharePoint environment of a large organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of SharePoint sites, as well as providing technical support to end users. Key Responsibilities:
1. Administer and maintain the SharePoint environment, including user access, permissions, and site configuration.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design SharePoint solutions, and implement customisation's as needed.
3. Monitor and troubleshoot SharePoint issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.
4. Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of SharePoint sites by performing regular backups, updates, and patches.
5. Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing technical support to end users, ensuring their effective utilisation of SharePoint features and functions
6. Stay up to date with the latest SharePoint trends, best practices, and industry standards to propose and implement improvements to our SharePoint environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
7. Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator in a corporate IT environment.
8. In-depth knowledge of SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 and SharePoint Online (Office 365).
9. Proficiency in configuring and customising SharePoint sites, workflows, lists, libraries, and permissions.
10. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve complex SharePoint issues.
11. Familiarity with SharePoint development tools and technologies such as SharePoint Designer, PowerShell, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
