This full-time role, based in Henderson, WA, is strategic and requires a solid understanding of ASC's operations to effectively support the Operational WHSE team. The role includes overseeing all governance aspects of ASC’s WHSE programs, including the Safety Critical Risk Program.ResponsibilitiesSupports the Senior WHS Specialist and Senior WHS Advisor design the WHSE management system for ASC workers overseas.Ensures WHSE documents and tools are useful and follow both international and Australian WHSE laws.Checks and compares international WHSE systems to ensure they match Australia's WHSE systems and laws.Uses risk management tools like travel risk assessments, safety assessments, and WHSE inductions.Helps improve the WHSE management system for workers at international sites.Ensures ASC workers in the US follow both US and Australian WHSE laws.Essential QualificationsRelevant tertiary qualifications in WHS management, environmental science, engineering, or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a systems role.Strong understanding of WHS and Environmental Legislation and standards.Significant experience in data analysis, workflow design, and governance frameworks.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Project and MS Excel.Ability to travel internationally and nationally on occasion.Exposure to OHSA legislation (USA) desirable.EligibilityThis role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology.
