The Department of Health is seeking applicants for a full-time fixed term Allied Health Professional to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services team at Clare House.
The Role:
As part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Allied Health Professional – Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CAMHS):
* Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive clinical service through the provision of assessment, case management, individual therapies and groups, including specialised therapies for clients and their families or carers.
* Promotes community awareness in relation to mental health and acts as a consultant to other agencies with regard to the support and management of clients with mental health needs.
* Provides interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs within a multidisciplinary team.
Details of Appointment: Allied Health Professional Level 3
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
* Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
* Current Working with Children Registration.
* Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in an area relevant to the role (desirable).
* Postgraduate qualification or working towards a postgraduate qualification relevant to the role (desirable).
* Current Driver’s Licence (desirable).
