About the opportunity
Mercy Health Albury is a subacute health service providing inpatient Palliative Care, inpatient GEM, community Palliative Care, community transitional aged care and community therapy programs. The Allied Health department provides services to all programs. The team consists of physiotherapists, OTs, dietitian, speech pathologist, social workers and Allied Health Assistants. This position requires a dynamic Dietitian to work as part of the community transitional aged care program. You will:
Provide a client centred nutritional and dietetic service to older clients Improve and promote optimal nutrition and provide ongoing education to clients, their carers and staff. Work within a multidisciplinary team. Have an innovative approach to care Have the option of flexible hours available to fit with work life balance What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:
Bachelor or post graduate degree in dietetics with eligibility as an accredited practicing dietitian
Demonstrated experience in the specialty of dietetics - at least 2 years clinical experience (preferably with older persons)
Ability to manage a complex and diverse caseload
Resourceful and innovative approach to client centred care
Full drivers licence and ability to drive in country areas You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
