This role requires knowledge of safety protocols, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
Some of the duties include (but not limited to):Operating Blending Machines: Responsible for setting up and operating blending machines according to production specifications.
This includes selecting appropriate settings and ensuring that all machinery is functioning correctly throughout the blending process.Monitoring Blend Quality: Continuously monitor the blending process to ensure the quality of the mixture meets established standards.
This involves taking samples.Documenting Production Data: Keep accurate records of blending operations, including batch numbers, ingredient amounts, and any deviations from standard procedures.
This documentation is crucial for traceability and quality assurance.Adhering to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
This includes wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to all operational safety procedures.Reporting Production Issues: Report any production issues or discrepancies to supervisors in a timely manner.To therefore be considered for one of these new casual opportunities, we are seeking to hear from applicants who possess:Food processing/manufacturing experience highly desirable.Previous experience on a production line or processing environment.Familiarity with HACCP and Food Standards Codes will be seen as a distinct advantage.A track record of reliability & dependability in relation to attendance and work ethic.Be physically fit.
Capable of some heavy lifting.Self-motivated and able to operate in a constantly changing and sometimes frustrating environment.An understanding of food manufacturing principles.Please note that these are casual positions to commence with, but carry long term full-time employment potential for the right candidates.With shifts available across afternoon shift (3.00pm - 11.00pm), remuneration on offer will include appropriate shift allowances for the Foodservices industry and the successful applicant(s) must be available to work 38 hours per week plus overtime if required.As these roles are located in Maryborough (regional Victoria), applicants from within the area or region are highly encouraged to apply.
