Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations and manage all aspects of the business, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards. Maintain and update knowledge on different types of glass, installation techniques, and safety regulations. Prepare accurate quotes and negotiate contracts, optimizing profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. Lead market research to stay ahead of new trends in the glazing industry and technology, implementing innovative solutions to meet changing customer needs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry contacts, suppliers, and partners to secure new work and opportunities. Drive business development activities, identifying new markets and strategies to expand our presence and increase market share. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the organization. Leadership Responsibilities: Direct reports: Office Manager, Production Manager and Sales Manager; Reporting to the owners, with a significant degree of autonomy reflecting the seniority of the role. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the glazing or related industry, or running a business in this sector. Extensive industry and technical knowledge about glass types, installation methods, and the latest glazing technologies. Strong business acumen with experience in quoting, negotiating, and managing contracts. Proven track record of business development and an established network of industry contacts in Australia. Ability to keep abreast of new trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the glazing industry. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to lead a team and foster relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
