The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking two Test Analyst to provide a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security. About the Business Unit Technology Solutions and Data Security is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, which focuses on meeting the department's data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes. Technology Services and Data Security explores and employs technology to enable the department's business function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and overseas the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex. About the Role The Test Analyst will support all testing levels, types and stages of the overall program of works; with the planning and implementation of the test verification and validation processes. Additionally, the Test Analyst role will play an integral role, under a variety of project and software development methodologies including waterfall, iterative, incremental and agile, of collaboratively ensuring the conversion of business requirements into successful tested outcomes for the business meeting agreed business quality expectations. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated knowledge in working in an SDLC environment - Thorough understanding of testing frameworks within an SDLC environment. Demonstrated testing analytic skills - demonstrated ability to adapt quickly, work under pressure and manage multiple releases in accordance with delivery requirements and timelines. A relevant business or ICT tertiary qualification is highly desirable. Appropriate vocation training or certifications in best practise testing delivery is highly desirable.
